Each wedding is one-of-a-kind! So let’s tell your story through your wedding stationery! The invitation is the first glimpse to your event and it better be amazing! The design is carried out through the entire wedding suite, so that the look is coherent and unitary. We work closely to our grooms for fully custom designs, so that we can evoke their personality through the paper goods we create. To ensure we can provide exceptional service, we need to get to know you better, to find inspiration and materials that best fit your event theme and chromatics. As a totally bespoke process, we can brainstorm together and find which are the options that best compliment your style and aesthetics – handmade paper, calligraphy, accessories and prints all have to be fantastic!

We only take a limited amount of custom design projects each year, so, as soon as you have your date secured, preferably at least 6 months prior to the event, we highly recommend you ask for inquiry and booking to secure your project. Take a look at the process and let’s get to work!


1. Consultation

We are glad to hear from you on the email! We are eagerly looking for you to let us know how you dream of your wedding, the things you like and the theme you will approach for your big day! Please let us know what are the colors you’d prefer, elements you want on the invitations and any special touches you imagine. You can send us pictures, Pinterest boards or any other element that inspired you. This way we can understand better what you are looking for, what you love and we can create an accurate mood-board for your wedding stationery.

2. Get a Quote + Sign the Contract = Let’s get Started!

Once we know the style of your wedding, the budget available and the stationery items needed, we can provide a personalized quotation. When ordering custom wedding stationery, a design fee is applicable and the production costs – considering the complexity of the model, the materials used and the work and assembly needed. After your review, approval, signing the contract and payment of the design fee, which is nonrefundable, we can start working for your project. We will also set together the production and delivery terms.

3. Design

We can start the creative process and make your dream wedding stationery come to life. We need 5 to 10 business days to prepare the proposals for you. Custom Invitations Process includes 3 designs that we provide for you to choose the one that most fits your expectations. After you decide which is the design you like best we start refining the design until we arrive at your perfected wedding invitation customized for your wedding. 3 rounds of revisions/interventions are included, after this a fee will be charged for each additional round and it may add up to 2 weeks to production, depending on the design and our schedule. Once everything is settled and we have your approval on the digital proof, we will charge the amount for the production process and the shipping costs.

4. Production

After the payment for your wedding paper goods is confirmed, we can send the items for production. This will take 10 to 20 business days, then the paper goods are carefully packed and shipped to you.

5. Shipping

Delivery may take 5 to 10 days. Amalia Calligraphy is not responsible for damaged, lost or delayed shipments. Customs/duties/taxes may be charged to customers at the discretion of the border officials, and this is beyond Amalia Calligraphy control. Please ensure that you are providing the correct and complete address to avoid delays or having your package returned to sender. Shipping times may vary, see estimated standard delivery times below:
