Want to learn calligraphy, but you just don’t know where to start? You are in the right place to begin your calligraphy journey online.
Find out what tools and materials you need and how to use them to create great letters. Take your first steps in Modern Calligraphy and develop a new relaxing hobby that can be joyfully used to decorate objects and interiors, to create artistic projects or digital designs, to write personalized messages, to create fonts and other creative items.
Where does the workshop take place? – In the comfort of your home, office or garden because this is a live Zoom interactive workshop.
What do we do during this workshop? – We get to know each other for the beginning, we get familiar with tools and materials we use for the course, we’ll focus on basic strokes first so we get accustomed to the pointed nib we use, then we’ll go further with letter forms (lowercase and uppercase letters). We connect letters to form words and in the end we’ll share tips&tricks for your calligraphy practice.
What do you need for this workshop?
- Good Internet connection
- A phone or Desktop to watch and interact
- A desk and a chair
- A glass of water (for washing the nib)
- A soft cloth or paper towel (to clean and dry the nib)
- Pencil and eraser (optional)
- The Starer Kit we send you through courier
What is included?
- 1 Starter Kit including: 1 straight Pen Holder, Pointed Nib, Black Ink, Modern Calligraphy Worksheets to work upon during workshop, 1 Modern Calligraphy Practice Pad for future practice
